Abduqafar Hassan is a communications expert focusing on impactful storytelling and strategic communications. With over 5 years of experience, Hassan has a strong background in highlighting stories from hard-to-reach areas as well as coordinating with development partners in bringing a positive impact on the communities.

Hassan has championed for the rights of the marginalized among them the ostracized mothers from the Gabbra community. He has been central to the research in examining the stigma and resilience among the banished mothers. He has also been involved in Youth Empowerment programs at grassroots level in Northern Kenya with a sharp focus on their skilling that culminates in peace and social development.

Hassan has amplified the voices of Non-Governmental Organizations through documentary production and community engagements. Hassan holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the United States International University-Africa (USIU-A).
