CPA Ibrahim Ahmed Ali

CPA Ibrahim Ahmed Ali is a seasoned Finance and Administration specialist with over 15 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors across Northeastern Kenya and the Horn of Africa region, particularly Somalia.
Most recently, he served as the HR and Administration Manager for the Centre for Peace and Democracy (CPD), based in Mogadishu, Somalia, with operations spanning all regional states. In this role, he played a pivotal role in transforming the organization’s HR and administrative systems to align with the diverse and above-board standards required by a wide range of institutional donors, including USAID, Somalia Stability Fund (SSF), Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF), Oxfam, Welthungerhilfe, IRC, and UNICEF, among others.
His earlier career includes key positions such as: Group Finance Manager at Sisters Maternity Home (SIMAHO), Finance Manager at Millennium Promise Alliance Inc., Senior Accountant at Pathfinder International (APHIA II & APHIA plus NAL), Finance & Administration Officer at EMACK – Aga Khan Foundation. All these roles were based in Garissa, Kenya, where he gained deep insights into both field-level and institutional finance and admin operations.
Ibrahim has a strong track record in: Budget management for donor-funded projects, Local and foreign bank account management, Timely submission of monthly donor reports and quarterly financial analyses, Ensuring strict compliance with donor and internal organizational policies
